Members of the Georgia General Assembly can acquire and enhance knowledge and skills critical to governing the state through instruction and professional development activities designed especially for them by the Vinson Institute. The Georgia Legislative Leadership Institute helps newer lawmakers enhance their leadership skills, while the Biennial Institute for Georgia Legislators provides both an orientation to the legislative process for new lawmakers and policy sessions for all attendees on critical issues facing the state.
