Bio:
As Business Manager, Emily Schattler is responsible for the financial management of restricted accounts. She also provides professional oversight and assists public service faculty, staff and Institute of Government management regarding sponsored projects.
Prior to joining the Carl Vinson Institute of Government in 2020, Emily worked in financial management, human resources, and operations management at the University of Georgia. She served a number of years in UGA Extension, administering youth programming, performing alumni relations/fundraising, and creating communications design and content. Emily also has a background in media production and client management.
Emily is a graduate of the UGA High Impact Leadership program and the Fiscal Administration Certificate Training Series (FAST and GRASP tracks), and also received a certificate in Supervisory Excellence from the University of Georgia.
