Bio:
Thad McWhorter joined the Institute of Government in 2014 as manager of the Conference Services unit. Thad is responsible for the organization, administration and management of the unit’s Program and Event Managers and Coordinators as well as the Institute of Government’s Instructional Technology Assistant. The Conference Services unit provides the administrative, financial, planning, and logistics services for local and state-level training programs. Thad previously served as a U.S. Army infantry officer, retiring in 2011 after 27 years of service.
