Wage Survey Report

The Report of the Wage and Benefit Survey of Manufacturers in Eleven Northeast Georgia Counties provides a comprehensive view of compensation offered by manufacturers in the Athens area. The Carl Vinson Institute of Government, in partnership with the University of Georgia's Selig Center for Economic Growth, surveyed more than 1,500 manufacturers in an 11-county region surrounding and including Athens-Clarke County.

The results of the surveys, detailed in the report, provide timely information about pay and benefits associated with multiple distinct job classifications, including data about retirement plans and medical coverage offered. In addition, the report describes employer policies and practices related to overtime, sick and personal leave time, educational assistance, and more.
