Daniel Wyatt is the Defense Communities Resilience Program Team Lead. Daniel leads employees based at Fort Benning working with the Cultural Resources and NEPA projects on the installation. He is responsible for developing and fostering relationships between UGA, Fort Benning, the US Army Corps of Engineers and surrounding communities. He is also responsible for identifying infrastructure projects that may align with UGA's expertise in environmentally sustainable engineering and landscape design.

Daniel is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, for which he served as a Field Artillery Fire Direction Controlman and Field Artillery Land Surveyor. He worked with the Lee County (AL) Highway Department as an Engineering Technician and Project Manager, and most recently worked for the Lee-Russell Council of Governments (AL), where he served as the Transportation Planner for the Auburn-Opelika Metropolitan Planning Organization.
