Monica Flamini is a Public Service Faculty member in the institute’s Government Services
and Research Division, where she works on research projects to help state and local
governments improve operations and management by making data-informed decisions. She
also works with the institute’s Data Analysis and Decision Making for Government Certificate
program. Monica previously worked as an education research and policy analyst at The
Governor's Office of Student Achievement, where she helped lead and conduct the agency's
mandated research requirements. Trained as a teacher, her career accomplishments include
being recognized as a Faculty Scholar by the University of Georgia for her doctoral
research and graduating from the Institute of Government’s 2Gen Academy.
